We hope you have a good look around and we are more than happy to advertise your site here. Provided that we can return the favour! Just so everything is fair game, here are our rules of engagement.
PLEASE NOTE THAT THESE RULES ARE NOT THE SAME AS THE TO 'AFFILIATE WITH US' RULES
1. Once you place your advertisement with us in the relevant board on the main section, (NOT as a reply to this thread), one of the Admins will take a look at your site and post our advertisement in return.
2. Your site MUST be guest friendly. We should not be forced or required to register with you just to make an advertisement. Stargate Command views this as a waste of your site's time and this is why we ask for this requirement. You'd expect the same courtesy of us.
If you have posted your site on the appropriate board on the main board, we shall do the same. However, if we are unable to post because we are required to register with you in order to start a thread or that your site has no guest friendly advertising available, your ad will be removed. We reserve this right and you may not always be notified.
However, if you have fixed this issue, you're more than welcome to re-apply/repost your advertisement.
3. You are able to bump your advert thread. You should make sure you don't already have an advertisement for your site here before making one. We've had a few issues with people making new advertisements for ones already made. Please wait until your advertisement has disappeared from Page One before bumping. To help combat the issue of Duplicate Advertisements, our 'First Link' and 'Link Back' categories now have a thread each that lists every site we're advertising with thus far. If you're unsure of whether a member of your site has already posted on our sight, see to the list.
4. When posting your advert with us, please do check your coding. We are a Proboards site meaning that some coding won't work if you are used to the coding used by InvisionFree or Jcink sites. Example ; [center*] [/center*] is the correct format here for centering.
5. In the Role Playing community that use online sites as their medium, please take into account that 'Advertising' is not the same as 'Affiliating'. To Affiliate means the use of a hyperlinked button that goes somewhere on the site's home or root page either in a fixed position or in a marquee. If you wish to affiliate with us, please go back one page and click on the 'Affiliate With Us' board.
