THE PLOT
Three years have passed since what everyone thought to be the extraction of the last of the System Lords. Stargate Command and the United Nations are preparing to reveal the truth about the Stargate to the rest of the world and the possibilities it can provide. Every world leader from America to Australia are attempting to make sure that the unveiling of the Stargate does not lead to world wide panic.
The Free Jaffa are rebuilding a new home and lives on New Dakara. They maintain their ties with Earth knowing from past experiences and the solid opinion of Teal'c, brother to all Jaffa, that to severe themselves from such a steadfast ally was likely to spell doom. A new High Council has to be formed whilst they make a new living on a world that is almost like a second Earth but a lot warmer.
With Egeria lost, the Tok'ra are steady declining, but hope remains as every effort is made to find a new queen willing to bear their name. However, this is a difficult task as very few queens remain in the universe. The SGC have agreed to help the Tok'ra in any way they can to find a queen knowing that the two races can help each other.
All worry about the Goa'uld seems to have disappeared entirely but a brighter future is overshadowed by the one sleeping dog that SG-1 failed to find. The original Ba'al. SG-1 have always wondered what Ba'al meant when he told them that they were making a terrible mistake.
Ba'al has kept an uncharacteristically low profile, quietly rebuilding his armies waiting for just the right moment to reclaim what he believes to be rightfully his.
Domination as the Supreme System Lord.
On whose side shall you stand?
Whilst Ba'al is rebuilding his power base, Jack has returned as the base commander for Cheyenne Mountain, coordinating all efforts from there. Whether this is due to sentimental reasons or because of something else, it is altogether unclear.
